House of Indi (Formerly The Velveteen Rabbit) was established in 2014 by Zoë Carney. Her first pop up on Dublins Baggot street that Christmas was a great success so she relocated into their permanent address at the wonderful Home studios (established at the same time by Mr. House of Indi) in Harolds Cross.
Zoë, for as long as she can remember has had a love of houses and all the treasures they hold inside. Growing up in Monkstown in Dublin, she was lucky enough to live in this eclectic neighborhood full of beautiful period homes with incredible interiors. This really fuelled her love of interiors and started her on her own journey of collecting.
Zoë now sources unique pieces world wide, with an eye for the eclectic and a deep understanding of the splendour of faded grandeur and the beauty in imperfection.
The collection includes mid century, Indian antiques, reclaimed wood furniture, decorative 20th century French furniture, Hungarian 20th century furniture, Lighting and a large injection of modern homewares & furniture to compliment the existing pieces. This really reflects the modern day home, which are largely a mixture of old and new.
This ensures that the buyer will not fail to find an exclusive piece which will grace any interior, making a statement with individuality.
